Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Oshi no Ko author Aka Akasaka is set to debut a new manga series in Weekly Young Jump in Spring 2025.
The series will feature artwork by Ajichika, and series composition by Aoi Kujira.
Ajichika is the name of the four-member unit, which includes Aji, Chika Katou, Subaru Fuji, Hara, that illustrates Record of Ragnarok.
A teaser image released alongside the announcement hints that the new series will be set in a fantasy world, with the plot described as:
“In a fairy-tale world, there are always princesses and princes guided by fate…“
Akasaka’s current manga, Oshi no Ko, illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, is scheduled to conclude on Nov 14, 2024, with the release of chapter 166 in Weekly Young Jump Issue 50.
Following the end of Kaguya-sama, Akasaka had announced on Nov 3, 2022, that he would retire from drawing manga to instead focus on writing.
